That is the upshot of any and all aspects of my current tale of woe. I have a friend in North Carolina who is a nurse, and they did it with their covid mandates - anybody with critical thinking skills and/or a backbone left so as to not get the shot, and the absolute incredible majority of those that are left are all dumber than boxes of rocks. I mean fucking truly - dumber than boxes of rocks . It's basically insulting to rocks to make that comparison. MAINTAIN YOUR HEALTH. DO NOT LET YOUR BODY BETRAY YOU.

I don't know whether I've shared this story before. But WTH. I'm going to do it again.

My favorite story about my mother was when she confronted a man living trailer parked in my grandmother's driveway. With my father hanging back, my mother knocked on the door, and out came the squatter. He was armed with a shotgun and a pit bull was standing at his side. Undaunted, she told the man to move the trailer off the property or she would call the sheriff. And so the man left. Later, she told us: "I wasn't scared of the shotgun. It was the dog I was worried about."
